And if there is no remover in the box, you can use improvised products to cleanse the skin. The main thing is not to overdo it: when using aggressive compounds, irritation may occur. The paint will wash off on its own on the 2-3rd day, and redness can persist for up to a week.

Hydrogen peroxide and salicylic alcohol

Pharmacy products

You can solve the problem by rummaging through your first aid kit. To help remove paint from skin:

  • Hydrogen peroxide. Soak a cotton swab in the 3% solution and apply to the areas to be cleaned. Wait 3 minutes. Rinse your skin with clean water - the pigment will be washed off.
  • Salicylic alcohol (it deeply cleanses the skin). To remove paint, use a 1–2% solution. It is applied pointwise, without rubbing. You need to wait from 5 to 20 minutes. Next, you need to wash off the salicylic acid and use a moisturizer.

Before tinting your eyebrows, apply a thick cream or Vaseline to the skin around the hairline. This product will create a film that will prevent the paint from being absorbed. Once finished, you can wash off all excess and stains with plain water.

Folk recipes

If you don’t have the necessary products in your medicine cabinet, you can make a leather cleaner from the products. Most of them will be found in the kitchen, and some in the bathroom.

8 folk remedies that have worked well:

  1. Vegetable oil. Dissolves paint. It is most effective to use heated vegetable oil (sunflower, olive, coconut, sea buckthorn or other). Soak a cotton pad in the oil and apply it as a compress to the eyebrows. You need to keep it on for 20 minutes to 8 hours, depending on the intensity of the pigment. The skin is then cleansed with alcohol and washed with water.
  2. Fat cream. Acts similarly to vegetable oil. The cream is applied in a thick layer to the eyebrows. When it is completely absorbed, the paint is wiped off with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  3. Lemon juice. Has lightening properties. May sting slightly upon application. To remove the paint, you need to squeeze a slice of lemon, soak a piece of cotton pad and apply it to the skin as a compress for 10 minutes. Then you need to rinse off the juice and lubricate your eyebrows with moisturizer. During the day, pigmented areas will lighten.
  4. Salt. A saline solution does a great job of removing henna-based dyes. You need to dissolve 2 teaspoons of sea salt (can be table salt) in 50 ml of warm water, soak a cotton swab and apply to the skin. After 20-30 minutes, rub the stained areas and rinse with clean water.
  5. Laundry soap. It will help cleanse the skin if the paint has been applied recently. The area is soaped and left for 15–20 minutes. For better results, repeat the procedure 3-4 times during the day.
  6. Toothpaste. A whitening paste will do the job best. It is applied to the skin for 15 minutes and then washed with water.
  7. Oatmeal. If the area you need to clean is large, you can make something like an oatmeal scrub and face wash. Grind the flakes in a coffee grinder and mix half and half with the gel. Massage your eyebrows for 3-5 minutes, trying to remove the dye, and then rinse with warm water.
  8. Parsley with kefir. The mixture has whitening properties and, in addition, perfectly nourishes and moisturizes the skin. To remove paint, prepare a mask from finely chopped parsley leaves and low-fat kefir. The composition should be thick. It should be applied to the eyebrows for 30 minutes and then washed off. You can repeat the procedure 2-3 times if necessary.

If none of the tried methods help, mask the paint on your skin with foundation.

It’s not for nothing that they say that eyebrows are the frame for the face. Not only beauty, but also facial expressions depend on their expressiveness. The wrong line can make the look heavy, sad, arrogant, surprised. If you decide to resort to eyebrow tinting at home, you should be as careful as possible.Consider which shape will suit your face. Try drawing your eyebrows in with a pencil first. Only then apply paint along the lines outlined in advance. Place a cotton swab and alcohol nearby. If paint comes out, wipe the skin immediately. Then you won’t have to resort to more sophisticated methods.
