13. Cover with varnish.
14. We insert the handles.

An old gift bag can be turned into a cute box.

The box is suitable for storing jewelry and hair ties. You can use it as packaging for small gifts.

For production you will need:

• gift bag;
• blank sheet of paper;
• ruler;
• pencil;
• PVA glue.

Progress:

1. We draw a white sheet of paper according to the diagram (for a box with a side of 6 cm and a height of 3 cm):
   
2. Cut out the resulting rectangle.
3. Place it on one side of the gift bag and trace it.
4. Cut out and transfer the diagram.
5. Cut off the shaded edges.
6. We make cuts in places where the pencil is darker (in the diagram).
7. Using a ruler, we form folds along the remaining lines.
8. Fold the box and glue the final fold from the inside.
9. By analogy, we draw a diagram for the lid (6.2 cm and 1 cm), and assemble it in the same way.
