Have you collected some staples from Magnit and don’t know what to do with them?
Content:
Do you often shop at large retail chain stores? This means that you probably received something inedible in “candy” packaging more than once along with a check. These incentive prizes are not very inspiring for adults, but children are ready to appreciate the element of play and the invitation to collect colorful trinkets. My child has not been left out - grocery bags are now inspected not for the presence of sweets, but for “fasteners”. I decided to conduct a survey in a children's party - to find out from my Arina and her friends how to use the Magnet staples and, in the end, why they are needed in such quantities. And then I talked with fellow parents - maybe they know how to use this disgrace in the household.
Simply - to be
Christina, 5 years old:
– I want to collect all the staples, but I often come across the same ones. That's why we change in kindergarten. I miss the unicorn and the frozen one with the snowflakes. Misha has a unicorn, but he doesn’t want to change. He offers a gray nozzle instead, but I have two of those.
“The first purpose is a stylish bracelet”
Milana, 6 years old:
– If there are a lot of staples, then you can make all sorts of things out of them. For example, I have already made a bracelet for myself and a collar for Melissa. Melissa is our cat. You can also make a belt for jeans or a garland.
Pendant, keychain, decoration
Masha, 5 years old:
– You can attach them to something! Look, I’m wearing it on my backpack. I also have a scrappy keychain. It’s true, it’s already worn off, see? You can also close it in a loop and it will be a pendant to wear around your neck.
Hair accessory
Lena, 4 years old:
– I ask my mother to make ponytails with strong ones. Here I have pink, and here I have green. It turns out beautiful.
Note to mothers: it’s easier to first tie the tail with a regular elastic band and attach a fastener on top of it. If you fasten it with an elastic band and try to collect your hair with it, it will stick to the silicone from which the fastener is made.
Instead of a pencil case
Julia, 6 years old:
“And my dad tied my pencils together so that I wouldn’t throw them around.” Then my mother and I barely took it off!
This was the top 5 options from children. Now let's listen to the parents. So, how can you use strong braces if you celebrated your 10th birthday back in the era of “Charmed” and “Xena: Warrior Princess”?
Headphones and wires
It seems that this is the basic function of the fastener - to fasten the earplugs so that they do not get tangled. Or, for example, wind up and fasten part of a wire that is too long so that it does not get “gnawed” by the wheel of an office chair.
A bunch - useful on the farm
If you have staples, a bag of bags will always look stylish and elegant! Roll up the package brought from the same “Magnet” and fasten it with this rubber misunderstanding. Now it will not unfold and will take up much less space. Profit!
But seriously, the staple is suitable for anything that you would like to put together in a bun and leave it like that for a long time.Arishka and I were picking up a bouquet of autumn leaves and herbs during our walk—the ubiquitous paper clip was just right. Or, as Yulin’s dad already suggested, you can fasten several pencils and pens together.
The other day I, one might say, reached a new level of zen - I adapted paper clips for storing children's socks. I just fasten them in pairs so they don’t get lost. The idea is so-so: Arisha that same evening stole all the regular staples from the chest of drawers for her children's needs, and the drawer with socks was left in exemplary chaos.
To keep your hands from getting dirty
An interesting option was suggested by my husband’s sister - she is 16 and she draws. When working with soft materials (pastel, sanguine, charcoal), attach a couple of staples to the stick so as not to get your hands dirty.
We have adopted this method. We have a mini board in our nursery that you can draw on with chalk. So, if you attach 2-3 fasteners to crayons, kids will not leave white prints on all dark surfaces in the house.
Christmas decorations
If you have a small artificial Christmas tree, then you know: finding Christmas decorations that fit the scale is not so easy. This is where staplers will feel needed! You can hang them individually, or you can make a whole garland. Just save your collection for winter.
Prizes in the game
Our neighbor Semyon came up with a harsh option. He has three children - 6-year-old Akim and 5-year-old twins Yura and Sasha.
Semyon starts only competitive and “socially useful” games for boys. For example, who will collect their toys faster or who will make the bed more accurately. To ensure that motivation does not fade day by day, prizes are given to competition participants in cash. For first place - Krutysh, second place - Oblomysh, third place - Kakasic.Yes, did you know that every fastener has an official name?
One can argue for a long time about Semyon’s teaching skills, but the scheme is working. Clamps can be used in games - for example, as chips or the same prizes (I would still exclude Kakasich from the prize fund).
On guard of safety
The last tip is for those who have very small children. So much so that they are ready to play with dangerous objects, but are not yet able to open the fastener on their own.
I suggest using scissors to fasten them so that they cannot be opened. For this purpose, you should choose some unsightly scrapper (for example, that gray zombie that the children call Snot). True, it is still better to remove scissors and anything that can prick or cut you as far as possible from the kids. Just in case.
That's what they are, these clamps. Or, as many call them, tough guys. Using them around the house is a dubious idea (they are not very comfortable, the design on them is quickly erased). But children know what to do with the strangest, in our opinion, trinkets. Remember: your kids are not just fooling around. By playing, they develop. Therefore, a box with bright rubber nonsense is a full-fledged teaching aid.

Throw them away, they are dangerous for children!!!
These “toys” are made of PVC, a dangerous plastic that can contain bisphenol A, phthalates, mercury, cadmium, and when burned releases cancer-causing dioxins. In addition, studies show that phthalates disrupt metabolism and can lead to diabetes, obesity, infertility, and behavioral disorders. These substances are especially dangerous for the health of pregnant women and small children!!!!!! Magnit stopped issuing them immediately after the scandal!!!
I agree, they are very dangerous! PVC contains dioxins and phthalates. 210 substances in the PVC structure are toxic to varying degrees, especially tetrachlorobenzene. There is strong evidence that it forms CAR, specifically (2,3,7,8-TCDD). In 1997, a symposium of scientists from different countries was held dedicated to this very topic - the potential of TCDD to cause several types of cancer. International classification TCDD. Phthalates have a target toxic effect on the liver and kidneys. For example, phlatates are banned in the UK for use in food packaging. In Switzerland, the use of phlateates has been banned in the toy industry since 1986.
There are a lot of cockroaches in your head - this is dangerous. Don’t make things up, no one knows for sure about the causes of cancer. to diabetes and obesity. It’s definitely not the squeaky ones that lead. Write nonsense...
Is it just cool? How do you do this? I wish I could do it that way. But I also have staples.
I tried everything too, but my fingers hurt after that.
Calm down, mothers. You know too much unnecessary stuff.Everything in life is relatively dangerous.
Normal creaks, no more dangerous than your excessive care.
Good clamps and most importantly they are cool multifunctional
