How to make a freshener:

1. Choosing an essential oil. It should be ethereal, with a pronounced smell. Typically citrus fruits (orange, lemon, lime, bergamot) or conifers (fir, juniper) are used. All these smells evoke associations with freshness and cleanliness. Lavender, lemongrass, peppermint, lemon balm, rosemary, cloves and other herbal and floral scents are suitable.
2. The roll sleeve must be cardboard. Never apply oil to the paper itself, much less saturate the roll, as some sources advise. Esters, as potent agents, may cause irritation when in contact with the skin.
3. Remove the toilet paper roll and apply 10-15 drops to the inside of the sleeve. The oil is well absorbed into the cardboard. The more drops, the more intense the aroma.
4. We return the paper to its place and use it as usual. When you turn the roll, the smell will become stronger.

Ready! The aroma of the oil lasts for about a week. Renew it as needed and don't waste money on chemical sprays. Most often, the roll ends by the time the smell dissipates. Simply apply the ether to a new package of paper.
