Are laundry sheets a newfangled nonsense or a really good product?

Washing sheets appeared on our market not so long ago and for most people they remain a curiosity. Their relatively high price does not contribute to their popularity among the population, although ease of use is worth the money. However, one of the reasons for the high cost is the lack of domestic production. All such funds are brought to us from the countries of Asia, central Europe and America.

Washing sheets - what are they?

This product looks unusual and seems like something truly new, but in fact it is just a pressed powder.

However, sheets have 5 advantages:

• unlike their bulk and liquid counterparts, they are not capable of crumbling or spilling onto the floor;
• take up little space, so there are no problems with storage and transportation;
• they don’t create dust, so you don’t have to inhale particles of harmful chemicals when loading them into the washing machine;
• There is no need to use a measuring cup.

Like the usual powder, sheets can be made using phosphate additives or based on environmentally friendly components.

The choice of sheets for washing is not so large - popular brands can be counted on the fingers of one hand. However, even among the available pressed powders, each consumer can choose what he needs: the sheets are both regular and hypoallergenic, for hand and machine wash, scented and odorless.

Dizolve - laundry sheets originating from Canada

This Canadian company was the first to produce the powder in sheet form. In principle, it does not use synthetic substances in its products - the composition is completely natural. Essential oils act as a flavoring agent, the basis of the product is starch (about 30% of it in each leaf). In second place in terms of quantitative ratio is glycerin - this component is added from 15 to 30%. An alkyl polyglycoside, which is of plant origin, is responsible for the formation of foam.

Dizolve washing sheets are ideal for septic tanks and are absolutely safe for health. True, dirt is not removed particularly effectively - if you need to get rid of stubborn stains, you cannot do without bleach or stain remover.

Tech washing sheets - one quality standard for all countries

The production of sheets under the Tech brand is carried out by one of the subsidiaries of the LG concern - Household & Health Care. The Koreans, as always, did their best and developed an effective product that is ideal for washing underwear and children's clothes. Its basis is lauryl alcohol, and the main work of cleaning the tissue is performed by enzymes (there are from 5 to 15% of them here).

This powder is completely rinsed out of clothes, but gives it a fresh, light aroma. One plate is enough to wash 6 kg of laundry, and the non-woven base, which does not dissolve in water, can be used again - as a cleaning napkin.

Touching Nature - when Chinese does not mean bad

Sheets from Touching Nature are a natural product that does not harm either humans or nature.They are suitable for both automatic machine use and hand washing, and do not dry out the skin, but do an excellent job with most stains. They also help save money: the product is so concentrated that one plate is enough for several uses.

One of the advantages of this product is its antistatic effect. There is no need to add conditioner to the rinse water; the laundry turns out soft and smells pleasant with essential oils.

Wave washing sheets - cheap and environmentally friendly

The Wave trademark is registered in Canada, but production facilities are located in Croatia.

As in the case of Dizolve, the basis of washing sheets is made exclusively of natural ingredients - starch, glycerin, anionic surfactants. However, unlike other products, Wave can be used at temperatures up to 95 °C, and therefore also for boiling laundry.

Wave is universal - suitable for colored, white, and black items. It is not recommended to wash wool products with them.

Hanjang - Korean nanotechnology guarding cleanliness

The product in sheets from Hanjang is completely biodegradable, so its use will not have a negative impact on nature and human health. It is also very concentrated - half a plate is enough to wash 5 kg of laundry without complex stains. You can use this pressed powder not only in warm, but also in cold water - the quality of cleansing will not suffer from this. The basis of the sheets is enzymes, lipase and protease.

Frohdachs sheet laundry detergent

This product has only one drawback - it is difficult to find in stores.Otherwise, Frohdachs sheets are unsurpassed: they effortlessly remove almost any stain (of course, they cannot cope with fuel oil or paint), have a light, unobtrusive aroma, are suitable for people suffering from allergies, and perfectly preserve the color of the linen, making whites even whiter, and red, yellow, blue and green are even brighter.

The consumption of Frohdachs is low - for 10 kg of dirty clothes you will need to spend only 1.5 sheets. The main components in the composition are enzymes and citric acid.

Is it worth buying?

Considering the fact that pressed powders are much more convenient than regular ones, this product is definitely worth trying. The only problem may be the cost - the sheets are sold in large packages, so their price starts from 400-500 rubles for 20-30 pieces. To choose an option that fully satisfies the needs of a particular user, you will have to spend a lot of money. However, in terms of one wash, using sheets is not that expensive - this amount is comparable to the cost of regular high-quality powder or gel and conditioner.

Laundry detergents in sheets will be appreciated by allergy sufferers, families with small children and owners of small apartments where there is simply no room for large bags and boxes of powder.
