It is better to avoid washing powder as a floor cleaner if you are cleaning a nursery or there are pets in the house - the product does not wash off well. Surfactants can harm cork floors. Powder with aggressive components (for example, bleach) will have a bad effect on both cork and parquet or laminate.

Another unpleasant moment is that the floors get dirty faster than after using a special product. The latter removes static from the coating and leaves a thin, safe film that repels dust (special polishes or mastics work similarly, but more effectively).
